Early training
Brydon studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff, but he departed after a year. At 20, he went to work for Radio Wales.
A change of course
Brydon said on Would I Lie To You? that early in his career he used one of his voices to pose as his own agent on the phone, so he could justify charging more for freelance work.
