Biography
Phil Morris is an American actor who started out as a child in a 1966 episode of Star Trek. Born in Iowa City, he is the son of the actor Greg Morris. He made his feature debut in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) and later made guest appearances on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Babylon 5. In the mid-1980s he played the law student turned attorney Tyrone Jackson on The Young and the Restless, and he joined Mission: Impossible when it returned in the 1980s, playing Grant Collier. In the 1990s he played the recurring defense attorney Jackie Chiles on Seinfeld. He voiced Dr. Sweet in Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) and Atlantis: Milo's Return (2003), and from 2007 he portrayed Martian Manhunter on Smallville. Later he played Silas Stone on Doom Patrol from 2019 to 2023 and voiced characters in Justice League: Doom (2012), Black Panther and Dead Space: Downfall (2008).
