Plot summary
After a mysterious house fire kills her mother, rebellious teenager Debbie Strand is sent to live with her grandmother. The grandmother is a strict fundamentalist Christian who forces Debbie to wear her late mother's old clothes and plans to send her to a reform school. At her new school, Debbie becomes obsessed with English teacher Peter Rinaldi and repeatedly tries to seduce him, but he rejects her advances.
