Matt Frewer
Biography
Matt Frewer is an American-Canadian actor and comedian who played the artificial intelligence character Max Headroom in a 1985 television film and a 1987 series. Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Peterborough, Ontario, he trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. His films include Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989), Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace (1996), Dawn of the Dead (2004), Watchmen (2009), 50/50 (2011), and The BFG (2016). On television he appeared in Doctor Doctor, The Stand, Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal, Eureka, and Orphan Black. He also voiced Panic in Hercules and the Pink Panther in a 1993 series, and he earned two Gemini Award nominations in 2000.
