Plot summary
Jamie is a lonely young man, newly divorced, who creates artificial flavorings for a living. One day chocolate appears as a taste in his mouth, and after that he sees, smells and hears things that belong to a woman he has never met. That taste is the first of them, and the experiences trouble him. He becomes determined to find her, though he has no idea who she is.
