Jon Heder
Biography
Jon Heder is an American actor who broke through as the title character in Napoleon Dynamite (2004), a role that earned him MTV Movie Awards for Best Musical Performance and Breakthrough Male Performance in 2005. He became known for absurd, slapstick comedy in films such as The Benchwarmers (2006), School for Scoundrels (2006), Blades of Glory (2007), and When in Rome (2010). He also took dramatic parts in For Ellen (2012) and Walt Before Mickey (2015) and starred in Ghost Team (2016). His voice work includes Chicken Joe in Surf's Up (2007) and Surf's Up 2: WaveMania (2017), plus Thelma the Unicorn (2024). On television, he voiced Napoleon in the animated Napoleon Dynamite series (2012) and had a main voice role on Pickle and Peanut from 2015 to 2018. He hosted Saturday Night Live in 2005.
