Plot summary
In Preston, Idaho, Seth is a nerd who spends this day out of class with his friends Pedro and Giel. One stop is a convenience store, where a lottery ticket is the goal they have in mind. Giel shaved his own head after a fever, so at a thrift store the three search for a wig for him. That errand gives the short its title, since peluca is Spanish for wig. A student project, the film was made over two days for less than 500 dollars, and its black-and-white images were captured on 16mm stock at locations in and around Preston, among them the high school and the thrift store.
