Plot summary
Gavin Gore is a young fan of fantasy and science fiction, and he and his friends live in a small town that holds to the legend of Sasquatch. When they come upon enormous footprints in the woods, a local cop, a reporter and a Sasquatch authority look into the find. Zerk, unemployed and hounded by a collection agency over a credit card debt from a burger place, has ten days to pay or lose his car. He robs a video rental store and celebrates with beer, then wakes with a hangover. The talk of Sasquatch he overhears gives him an idea, and with his friend Shirts he prepares fake droppings and leaves a trail in the forest.
