Costas Mandylor
Biography
Costas Mandylor is an Australian actor who moved to the United States in 1987 and began taking acting lessons there. His first major part came in Triumph of the Spirit (1989), as a European Jew, and he went on to play an Italian count in The Doors (1991) and Mafia boss Frank Costello in Mobsters (1991). He had a lead role as officer Kenny Lacos on the CBS drama Picket Fences from 1992 to 1996, which brought him two Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. He is also known for his role as Detective Mark Hoffman in the Saw films, appearing in Saw III (2006), Saw IV (2007), Saw V (2008), Saw VI (2009) and Saw 3D: The Final Chapter (2010), and returning for a cameo in Saw X (2023).

For his lead role as Mafia boss Frank Costello in Mobsters, Mandylor said he felt tuned in to gangsters because he had read a lot in that genre and had worked as a dishwasher at a Melbourne nightclub at 13, where he saw real gangsters.
