Plot summary
Dr. Sutter runs a rehab sanatorium in a remote place, and four patients have just arrived there. Their addictions differ, covering alcohol, drugs and sex, and each of them carries an emotional wound. Sutter offers a cure: the C.L.E.A.N. program, short for Cerebral Lateralization Enforcement and Neuroactivation, which he says can alter the way the brain behaves and restore his patients. Alice, one of the newcomers, has known fear and visions since she was a small child, after witnessing her mother's murder. The treatments she and the others meet at the sanatorium prove brutal, and staying alive becomes the task before them.
