Biography

Christopher Mintz-Plasse is an American actor and musician who made his film debut as Fogell, also known as McLovin, in Superbad (2007), a performance that drew praise from critics and an MTV Movie Award nomination for Best Breakthrough Performance. Born in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, he performed on his high school improv comedy team. He went on to play the nerdy teenager Augie in Role Models (2008) and Isaac in Year One (2009). He voiced Fishlegs in How to Train Your Dragon (2010) and its sequel How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014), and portrayed Chris D'Amico, also called Red Mist, in Kick-Ass (2010) and Kick-Ass 2 (2013). Other credits include Marmaduke (2010), Fright Night (2011), ParaNorman (2012), This Is the End (2013), The To Do List (2013), and Neighbors (2014). He has also played drums for The Young Rapscallions and bass for Bear on Fire.
