Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Kick-Ass 2 (2013)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Several months before release Jim Carrey withdrew his support for the film over the amount of violence in it, in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, writing that he had made Kick-Ass a month before Sandy Hook and in all good conscience could not support that level of violence.
- The film was banned outright in Malaysia because of its vulgar title.
- Chad Gomez Creasey and Dara Resnik Creasey did uncredited work on Wadlow's script, softening Hit-Girl to make her more feminine and less crass in light of Moretz's older age.
