Plot summary
In the Great Hall, the dragon trainers welcome a newcomer. Hiccup, Astrid, Fishlegs and Gobber the Belch present the Book of Dragons, the reference work on dragon breeds, and lead a tour of its pages. Fourteen dragons appear in all, sorted into seven classes: Stoker, Boulder, Fear, Sharp, Tidal, Mystery and Strike, two breeds apiece. The trainers add what they have lately learned about handling each kind. Beside that tour runs the story of Bork the Very, Very Unfortunate, the book's first author, who did his research the hard way. Toothless takes part as well.
