Biography

Paul Anderson is a British film and television actor. His career gained momentum when he took the part of Arthur Shelby Jr. in Peaky Blinders, the BBC Two drama that ran from 2013 to 2022. In the mid 2000s he enrolled at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art after deciding on an acting career. He began in plays by Gregory Burke. His first leading role came in the British movie The Firm (2009). In 2011 he appeared as the military sharpshooter Sebastian Moran in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011). Later films include In the Heart of the Sea (2015), directed by Ron Howard, The Revenant (2015), in which he played Mr. Anderson, and Brimstone (2016).
