Plot summary

Lin leads an Interpol detail escorting a prisoner named Keith across South Africa. At a checkpoint, gunmen ambush the convoy and kill most of her agents; she gets Keith away from the scene. Travis Conrad, a hitman, spends a day on the water with Frank, his father-in-law, scattering ashes into the sea on the anniversary of the deaths they mourn. Frank falls asleep, and Travis drives to a bar for cocaine. Two men tail him there and pass on a message: Jim wants a word. Jim's offer is a million dollars a day to clean up after the failed attempt on Keith and Lin. Travis says he is retired, then takes the money and flies to Hong Kong.
