Garret Dillahunt
Biography
Garret Dillahunt is an American actor who moved from New York stage work into a long run of television and film roles. Born in Castro Valley, California, and raised in Selah, Washington, he earned a journalism degree at the University of Washington before taking an MFA in acting at New York University, and he spent years performing on and off Broadway in stage productions. On television he played Burt Chance on the Fox comedy Raising Hope, a part that brought a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination, and two different characters in Deadwood, Jack McCall and Francis Wolcott. He starred in the Amazon drama Hand of God and played John Dorie in Fear the Walking Dead, with roles on ER, The 4400 and The Mindy Project. His film work includes supporting parts in No Country for Old Men (2007), The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007), Winter's Bone (2010) and Looper (2012).
