Plot summary
Aurora is 16 years old and wants an ordinary life. Her mother raised her with a different lesson: the powers the two of them share are what set them apart, and they are dangerous. Aurora has not yet learned to control her psychic abilities. Then one night turns deadly, and the questions her mother's warning left her with are waiting for her there: whether it was true, and what using her own powers brings with it.
