Biography

Earl Boen was an American actor who became best known for playing the criminal psychiatrist Dr. Peter Silberman across the Terminator franchise, returning to the part in The Terminator (1984), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003). Born in New York City, he made his television debut in 1977 on The Streets of San Francisco and his film debut that year in Mr. Billion (1977). He appeared in Nine to Five (1980), The Man with Two Brains (1983), To Be or Not to Be (1983), G.I. Joe: The Movie (1987) and Nutty Professor II: The Klumps (2000), and had a recurring role as Reverend Lloyd Meechum on Mama's Family. He was also active in voice work, voicing Police Chief Kanifky in Bonkers and Horace Bleakman in Clifford the Big Red Dog, and he retired from screen acting in 2003, continuing in voice-over until 2017.
