Plot summary
Hillary Kramer runs a perfume business until her accountant takes the money and flees to South America, leaving her with almost nothing. Sorting through what remains, she finds a management contract with a boxer she once acquired as a tax write-off, Eddie 'Kid Natural' Scanlon, who has not fought in a long while and now earns his living teaching people to drive. Hillary decides that putting him back in the ring is her way to recover her losses. Eddie believes the comeback will get him killed and refuses, then agrees. Hillary knows nothing about boxing and trains him out of a how-to book while he works out in the ring.
