Biography

Danny Webb, born in London, is an English actor who trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and graduated in 1977, going on to steady work in British film, television and theater. His movie roles include the prisoner Morse in Alien 3 (1992) and a German communications officer in Valkyrie (2008), while on television he played Thomas Cromwell in Henry VIII and appeared in two Doctor Who episodes, The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit. He has had recurring parts in Brookside, Cardiac Arrest and Life Begins, and turned up in such series as Our Friends in the North, A Touch of Frost, Poirot, The Bill, Midsomer Murders, Silent Witness and Shackleton. On stage he appeared in the Olivier Award-winning production of Sarah Kane's Blasted at the Lyric Theatre, winning the 2011 Offie for Best Actor, and later in Straight Line Crazy in London and Off-Broadway.
