Trailer

Plot summary

In the kingdom of Cloister, monks once grew beans whose stalk climbed to Gantua, the giants' land, until King Erik used a crown made from a giant's heart to send the giants back and the stalk was cut down. The crown and the last beans were buried with him. Years later Jack, a farmhand, is sent to sell his uncle's horse and comes home instead with a pouch of the monk's beans. Princess Isabelle, who does not wish to marry her father's advisor Roderick, slips away from the castle during a storm and takes shelter at Jack's home. Rainwater wets a bean, and a stalk lifts the house, with Isabelle inside, into the sky. King Brahmwell sends his guard captain Elmont and Roderick after her, and Jack joins them.
