Trailer

Plot summary

Ferdinand is a calf at the Casa del Toro, a ranch in Spain where Señor Moreno trains bulls for the bullring. Ferdinand would rather sit under a cork tree and smell flowers, and the other calves mock him for it. When a matador arrives to watch the bulls fight, Ferdinand's father Raf is chosen and does not return. Ferdinand runs away and reaches a flower farm belonging to Juan, whose daughter Nina takes him in. Years later he has grown enormous but stayed gentle. Left behind when Juan and Nina go to the annual flower festival in Ronda, he follows them, the townspeople panic at the sight of him, and animal control officers take him back to the Casa del Toro.
