Keith Scholey directs David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet, a documentary that hands David Attenborough the floor. He speaks for a natural world recorded over a long life, and for what has altered in it since. Kirk Jones directs I Swear, a historical drama with Robert Aramayo, Maxine Peake and Peter Mullan. On the morning a scout comes to watch him keep goal, tics and involuntary swearing take hold of a twelve-year-old named John Davidson at school. 1917 comes from Sam Mendes, with George MacKay and Dean-Charles Chapman as the two lance corporals at its center. Their task is a crossing of no man's land with a message that would call off an attack. Mark Strong is in the cast.
