Plot summary
The 1995 Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks are where Reggie Miller becomes Public Enemy No. 1 in New York City. Miller crushes the hearts of Knicks fans more than once, and in Game 1 of the series his Pacers trail 105-99 with moments left on the clock. He scores eight points in 8.9 seconds late in the game to give the Pacers an astonishing victory. His back-and-forth with the Knicks fan Spike Lee makes the series a highlight of the 1995 NBA playoffs, and he builds his legend as the Garden's greatest villain.
