Plot summary
A group of Paralympic athletes describe their lives before and inside the Games. Bebe Vio loved fencing as a girl and, after meningitis at eleven, had her arms and legs amputated; the film takes its title from a nickname she was given as a child. Jonnie Peacock also lost a leg to meningitis, and Tatyana McFadden, Jean-Baptiste Alaize, Matt Stutzman, Ntando Mahlangu, Cui Zhe, Ryley Batt and Ellie Cole are among the others who appear. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, who founded the Invictus Games, and Eva Loeffler, daughter of the Paralympic Games founder Ludwig Guttmann, also appear, and the athletes describe how the competition has shifted the wider view of disability.
