Plot summary
Dave Chappelle's last special under his Netflix deal was recorded across seven sold-out nights at The Fillmore Detroit in August 2021, after the first dates drew enough demand to add three more. On stage he works through the pandemic, his own asymptomatic infection and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine he took, and the anti-Asian violence he thought about in quarantine. He describes a movie idea about aliens who once lived on earth and return to claim it. He jokes about the DaBaby controversy, the Juneteenth holiday, gay men, lesbians and the MeToo movement, and he argues the dictionary defines him as a feminist.
