Tamer Hassan

Biography

Tamer Hassan is a British actor who began his screen career in television. He grew up in New Cross, London, and before acting he boxed as an amateur, winning two British titles. An early film role came in The Calcium Kid (2004). He is best known for The Football Factory (2004), playing the head of an invented football crew opposite Danny Dyer. Nick Love, the director of that film, then cast him in a main supporting part in The Business (2005). His other films include Layer Cake (2004), Eastern Promises (2007), Cass (2008) and Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead (2009), in which he played Chavez. He also appeared in Clash of the Titans as Ares and in Game of Thrones in 2016 as Khal Forzo.
