Plot summary
In Bucharest, a crew of thieves led by Jack Tuliver robs an armored vehicle. Racketeers ambush them as they leave, killing most of the crew and Tuliver's associate Bull. Tuliver escapes with a sealed case taken from the loot. The gangsters behind the ambush want it back, and Tuliver carries it with him as he dodges through the city in a car commandeered from Sgt. Kelly Anders, which leaves her under suspicion among her fellow officers. One of his team has been captured by the group responsible, which is run by Alexsie Kutchinov, a Russian millionaire gangster, and Tuliver sets out to rescue the man.
