Plot summary
The Mexican footballer Santiago Muñez and his close friends Liam Adams and Charlie Braithwaite, both England internationals, take part in a commercial ahead of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. After the shoot, Liam's agent Nick Ashworth tells him that Real Madrid will not renew his contract, so Liam returns to Newcastle United, the club he played for before. Charlie gets a part in a film, and the group travels to Romania, where Charlie meets the Italian actress Sofia Tardelli. Liam and Charlie are named in England's World Cup squad.
