Georgina Chapman

Georgina Chapman is an English fashion designer and actress who was born in London and raised in Richmond. She studied at Chelsea College of Art and Design, where she met Keren Craig, later her business partner, and she completed her training at Wimbledon School of Art in 2001. She first worked as a costume designer and also took parts in television and film. In 2004 she and Craig started the fashion label Marchesa, which takes its name from the socialite Marchesa Luisa Casati; two years later the label was among the top 10 finalists for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. Chapman served as a judge on Project Runway All Stars from 2012 to 2019, and in 2019 a gown of hers was worn by Constance Wu at the Met Gala in New York.
