Sienna Guillory
Biography
Sienna Guillory is an English actress and former model who made her screen debut in 1993 in Riders, a television adaptation that needed a rider. While modeling for Armani, Dolce & Gabbana and Burberry and studying acting in Paris and at the New World School of the Arts, she took small television and film roles before returning her focus to acting in 2000. She gained critical attention with the BBC's Take a Girl Like You and played the title role in the miniseries Helen of Troy, which drew a Satellite Award nomination for best miniseries. Guillory became known as Jill Valentine in the Resident Evil series, including Apocalypse (2004), Afterlife (2010) and Retribution (2012), and appeared as the elf princess Arya in Eragon (2006) and Resa in Inkheart (2008). On television she played scientist Natalie Yelburton in Fortitude and Eve in Stan Lee's Lucky Man, and portrayed the lead villain in Meg 2: The Trench (2023).

Early training
While she was a model, Guillory took acting classes at the New World School of the Arts and the Paris Conservatoire, and she also had small parts in television and film, including The Future Lasts a Long Time in 1996.
A change of course
Before modeling, Guillory waited tables at a club, and in 2000 she called supporting her acting habit with waitressing probably the most useful thing she had done.
A role that slipped away
Guillory could not accept an invitation to play Jill Valentine again in Resident Evil: Extinction, the follow-up to Resident Evil: Apocalypse, because of scheduling conflicts with Eragon.
Beyond film
In May 2018, Guillory was the only actor in the music video for Liam Gallagher's "Paper Crown", though she took on multiple roles.
