Sergio Peris-Mencheta
Biography
Sergio Peris-Mencheta is a Spanish actor and theater director from Madrid. While studying at the Charles III University of Madrid, he joined a campus theater company led by Inés París and decided to pursue acting. His breakthrough came in 1998 on the teen drama Al salir de clase, where he played Dani Daroca, a student at the Siete Robles school, and the role brought him popularity. He moved to features with Jara (1999), sharing the screen with Olivia Molina and Ángela Molina. Later he branched into American television, appearing from 2017 in Snowfall as a former Mexican luchador who worked for a drug cartel in 1980s Los Angeles; that series lasted six seasons and ended in 2023.
