Plot summary
Sheldon is a gray robot whose head resembles an old computer tower. Each day he takes the bus to his job at the public library and returns home to recharge, until Francesca, a sleek woman robot, drives past him at the bus stop. Robots are not supposed to drive, yet she does. The next day she passes again, riding with other robots and a shirtless human, then turns around and offers Sheldon a ride home. She stops at a mall, where she and Sheldon walk together while she sticks papers reading I'm here onto an exit sign and a palm tree. Sheldon repairs her injured knee with the toolkit built into him, and the two listen to music in her car.
