Max Casella
Biography
Max Casella is an American actor who has worked across television, film, theater and voice acting. Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he played Vincent Delpino on Doogie Howser, M.D. from 1989 to 1993 and took the part of Racetrack Higgins in Newsies (1992). On Broadway he originated the role of Timon in The Lion King in 1997, earning a Theatre World Award and a Drama Desk Award nomination, and later played Marcellus Washburn in a revival of The Music Man. His films include Ed Wood (1994), Sgt. Bilko (1996), Analyze This (1999) and Leatherheads (2008). He voiced characters in Dinosaur (2000) and The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea (2000), and appeared on The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire and Tulsa King.
