Plot summary
Don is a former insurance adjuster who has just served ten years in prison. Back outside, he finds few options and no help from his old associates. He decides to collect a debt from Armen, an Armenian gangster. Armen knows Don needs money. He tells Don he will settle the debt if Don kills his girlfriend, Phyllis. Don agrees reluctantly.
