Martin Benson was an English actor of film, theater and television whose screen career spanned more than sixty years, most often in supporting parts or as a villain. Born in the East End of London, he founded a repertory company, the Mercury Theatre, in Alexandria with Arthur Lowe while stationed in Egypt during World War II.
