Biography

Henry Czerny is a Canadian actor who works in theater, film, and television. Born in Toronto, he studied at the National Theatre School in Montreal and graduated in 1982. He then acted on stages across Canada, including the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton, and the Stratford Festival. His most famous part is Eugene Kittridge, which he played in Mission: Impossible (1996) and later in the 2023 and 2025 Mission: Impossible sequels. His film credits include Clear and Present Danger (1994), The Ice Storm (1997), The Boys of St. Vincent (1992), Fido (2006), The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005), Remember (2015), Ready or Not (2019), and Scream VI (2023). On television, he had a regular role as Conrad Grayson on Revenge and appeared in The Tudors, Flashpoint, Falling Skies, and Quantico. His honors include two Gemini Awards and a Theatre World Award, and a Canadian Screen Award nomination for his performance in The Other Half.
