Brett Cullen
Biography
Brett Cullen is an American actor who built a long career across television and film after growing up in Houston, Texas, and studying theater at the University of Houston. He broke through in the 1980s with the CBS drama Falcon Crest, playing Dan Fixx for two seasons, and the ABC western The Young Riders as Sam Cain. Steady television work followed, including a lead role in the post-Civil War series Legacy and a recurring part as Governor Ray Sullivan on The West Wing. On the big screen, his credits include the spoiled quarterback Eddie Martel in The Replacements (2000), Barton Blaze in Ghost Rider (2007), a congressman in The Dark Knight Rises (2012), and Thomas Wayne in Joker (2019). He also appeared as Nathan Ingram on Person of Interest and Mark Keeler on Make It or Break It, and his alma mater gave him a Distinguished Alumni Award in 2012.
