Plot summary
Grace King Bichon manages the riding stable owned by her father, Wyly King, and lives in a small town with her husband Eddie and their daughter Caroline. Wyly trains show jumpers, and Grace pushes him to enter a horse belonging to her friend Hank in an upcoming competition; Wyly refuses, and Hank threatens to quit. Driving home from a meeting, Grace spots Eddie outside the bank kissing a blonde woman. At home, Eddie leaves a message saying he is at dinner with his father and clients. Grace drives to the restaurant with Caroline and finds him there with the same woman. He denies the kiss. Grace takes Caroline to stay with her sister, Emma Rae, while she decides what to do. She asks Wyly for support, but he is fixed on the competition.
