Plot summary
Rico Sarno, a museum curator, steals a nest of five eggs from a forbidden temple in South America. Frank Taylor is a single parent who sells fossils from his farm to the museum to get by. When the family's dog drags off a cooler, the eggs end up at the Taylor place. Frank's children, Monica and Jerry, watch the eggs hatch into five miniature dinosaurs and try to keep the creatures a secret. The five dinosaurs are named after famous pop musicians: Elvis, Paula, Jagger, Hammer and Madonna. Vicki Vandell, who works for Rico, is the woman Frank is falling for, and the dinosaurs start wrecking the house.
