Plot summary

At the height of the Cold War, U.N.C.L.E. sends Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin to collect Dr. Heinrich von Kronen, a former Nazi missile specialist, and bring him to the agency. THRUSH agents grab him first, working for Louis Strago, a Sicilian wine importer whose operation would divert the Gulf Stream and turn Greenland warm. Following the case takes the two men into Strago's base hidden in a winery, where his security force separates them. Solo passes the night in the bedroom of a young woman, Pia Monteri. Her grandmother regards the discovery as a disgrace and insists on a marriage on the spot, and Pia's uncles, the Stiletto brothers, onetime Chicago mob dons, take up the search for him.
