Plot summary
The Stranger's horse hauls him into a ghost town and dies there. In the empty town, a band of gypsies and a fortune teller offer him $50,000 to bring Princess Elizabeth Maria de Burgos home to Spain, where her nation is under attack by Barbarians. He turns the offer down. When Barbarians ransack the gypsies' home, he beats them and takes the job. He and the Princess reach Spain and land in a battle between allied Moors and invading Barbarians. The Barbarians win, capture the pair, and The Stranger tells their leader, Diego, that the woman with him is not a princess but a woman driven mad when she fell from a horse and struck her head.

Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Get Mean (1975)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Director Ferdinando Baldi, who had directed action sequences on Ben Hur, shot Get Mean's battle between the Barbarians and the Moors with the same horses and the same actors changing costumes between takes because of budget restraints.
- Star and producer Tony Anthony started filming Get Mean with $50,000 of his own money, then borrowed another $50,000 from director Ferdinando Baldi to finance the film.
- The theatrical cut of Get Mean was several minutes shorter and was made against star-producer Tony Anthony's wishes; Blue Underground's Blu-ray restores the footage as a director's cut.
- Co-writer and actor Lloyd Battista convinced Tony Anthony to let him play a hunchback in the style of King Richard, because Battista loved the character and Shakespeare's writings.
- Producer and star Tony Anthony moved his Stranger character to old Spain to shake up the series, saying the change had to be "off the wall" to surprise people, and he was worried Spaghetti Westerns had gone stale.
