Billy Drago

Billy Drago was an American film and television actor who often played villains. Born in Hugoton, Kansas, he began acting in 1979 after earlier work as a journalist and radio voice, and he trained with an acting company. He made early appearances in No Other Love, Windwalker and Cutter's Way. His career gained international prominence when he played Frank Nitti, the gangster assassin, in Brian De Palma's The Untouchables (1987), and he also appeared in Clint Eastwood's western Pale Rider (1985). On television he had recurring roles on The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., where he played the outlaw John Bly, and on Charmed, where he played the demon Barbas from 1999. His later films included The Hills Have Eyes (2006), Mysterious Skin (2004) and Low Down (2014). He also appeared in the Masters of Horror episode Imprint, which Showtime declined to air in the United States.
