Plot summary
Bruce Garrett is an engineer, out of shape and low on confidence, and his coworker Drew bullies him. As a teenager he was a salsa champion, until older boys attacked him on his way to the national finals and he gave the dance up. When he learns that Julia, his new American boss, is passionate about salsa, he decides to win her by relearning it, though he assumes she is out of his league. His old teacher Ron makes him confront the reasons he quit, and his salsa classmates and his sister Sam push him along as he tries to find again the heart he had for dancing.
