Tim Plester

Tim Plester is a British actor, playwright and filmmaker who grew up in Banbury, Oxfordshire and earned a BA in theater from Dartington College of Arts before taking an MA in playwriting at Birmingham University. In 1992/93 he was named National Student Playwright of the Year, and his stage writing credits include Dakota and Yellow Longhair. His documentaries with Rob Curry include Way of the Morris, which premiered at SXSW in 2011, and The Ballad of Shirley Collins, screened at the BFI London Film Festival in 2017. As an actor he has appeared in It's All Gone Pete Tong (2004), Magicians (2007), Lockout (2012), Cuban Fury (2014), Closer to the Moon (2014) and Backyard Village (2020). He played Black Walder Rivers in Game of Thrones, Linus Brody in WPC 56 and Julian in After Life, and he portrayed Queen's producer Roy Thomas Baker in Bohemian Rhapsody (2018).
