Manou the Swift (2019) on Netflix

Plot summary

Manou is a swift who is adopted and raised by a colony of seagulls. His adoptive mother, Blanche, is the first to find him, and she and her husband Yves, the colony's leader, bring him up alongside their son Luc. Manou believes he is a seagull like the rest of his family. When he attempts to fly, he discovers he cannot do what the seagulls do, and he leaves home. On his own, he meets other swifts, including Kalifa and her brothers Poncho and Yusuf, and Percival, who cannot fly and lives in a cemetery. A student at a sailing school, Francoise, becomes his rival. A dangerous threat looms over both the seagulls and the swifts.
