Tom Bosley
Biography
Tom Bosley was an American actor and entertainer. Born and raised in Chicago, he made his television debut in 1955 as the Knave of Hearts in an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, and his breakthrough came on Broadway as New York mayor Fiorello La Guardia in Fiorello!, a role that brought him a 1960 Tony Award. He was best known for playing Howard Cunningham on Happy Days, which earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination, and he went on to play Sheriff Amos Tupper on Murder, She Wrote and the title role in Father Dowling Mysteries. His voice work included Harry Boyle in Wait Till Your Father Gets Home and narration for That's Hollywood. His films included Love with the Proper Stranger (1963), The World of Henry Orient (1964), Divorce American Style (1967), Yours, Mine and Ours (1968), The Secret War of Harry Frigg (1968), Gus (1976), and The Back-up Plan (2010).

Bosley was the first to play Maurice in the Broadway production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast in 1994. That same year, he toured as Cap'n Andy in Harold Prince's revival of Show Boat.
