Paul Koslo
Biography
Paul Koslo was a German-born Canadian actor who often played villains. Born Manfred Koslowski in Germany, he moved to Canada in the 1950s and grew up in West Vancouver. He studied at the National Theatre School of Canada but left after a year. His early films included Vanishing Point (1971) and The Stone Killer (1973). He also had a sympathetic role opposite Charlton Heston in The Omega Man (1971). He went on to play villains in Joe Kidd (1972), Mr. Majestyk (1974), and The Drowning Pool (1975), and appeared with Anthony Zerbe in Rooster Cogburn (1975). After a supporting part in Voyage of the Damned (1976) and the mayor in Heaven's Gate (1980), he played villainous roles on several television series, including The Rockford Files, Mission: Impossible, and The A-Team. He also appeared in independent action films, Loose Cannons (1990), and Robot Jox, in which he played a battle-robot pilot.
