Jack Colvin
Biography
Jack Colvin was an American character actor who worked in theater, film and television. Born in Lyndon, Kansas, he started as a child stage performer and at seventeen studied privately with Michael Chekhov. He became best known for playing Jack McGee, a tabloid reporter, in the television franchise The Incredible Hulk from 1977 to 1982. His film credits included Jeremiah Johnson (1972), Scorpio (1973), The Stone Killer (1973), Rooster Cogburn (1975) and Child's Play (1988). On stage he played roles such as Marchbanks in Candida, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, and the role of Edmund in Long Day's Journey into Night. He also formed the 1960s comedy act Colvin and Wilder with Yvonne Wilder, appeared in many TV series including The Rockford Files and Kojak, and won Drama-Logue Awards in five categories: actor, director, playwright, producer and production designer. He died in 2005.

Colvin's comedy partnership with Yvonne Wilder, Colvin and Wilder, was one of the more successful acts of the 1960s and led to appearances on The Dean Martin Show, The Ed Sullivan Show and The Tonight Show, ending with a farewell appearance at Carnegie Hall.
