Meg Foster
Biography
Meg Foster is an American film and television actress. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, and raised in Rowayton, Connecticut, she trained at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. In 1968 she acted in John Brown's Body at Cornell Summer Theatre, and later that year appeared off-Broadway in The Empire Builders. She took on the role of Christine Cagney for the first season of Cagney & Lacey, a short run of six episodes. Her many film and TV roles include the 1979 miniseries The Scarlet Letter, Ticket to Heaven, The Osterman Weekend (1983), and They Live (1988). She appeared as Evil-Lyn in Masters of the Universe (1987), in Carny (1980), and as Martin in Leviathan (1989). She also guest-starred on shows such as Hawaii Five-O, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.
